i wrote a book: 'i told you i hated new york' (out december 20!)

Hi friends,

I’m so so so excited to announce that I’ll be releasing my new book, I Told You I Hated New York, on Friday, December 20! That’s only six days from now!

I Told You I Hated New York is a collection of stories, essays, and poems on music, friendship, mental health, heartbreak, and growth. There’s a lot about my adventures in music and a ton about who I’ve become thanks to all of it. Some of these date back to 2011; some were written more recently. It’ll be available on Amazon for $10 + shipping (or email me if you’re in the area and want to meet up at a show or something: molly@mhudelson.com).

I’m so excited for this book to come out. There’s some previously published material but a lot of it is new. It was really fun to look back at all of my writing over the past eight or nine years, and to discover - through putting this together - just how much I’ve grown and come in to my own. It is a very personal book, and as terrified as I feel (I mean, hello, you’ll all get to read about all of my feelings… yikes!), it feels really good to be sharing this - to be embracing who I am by sharing it with the world.

2015: a year in review

With only one more day left in 2015, it seems like an appropriate time to post a "year in review" blog (as I type that, this song is stuck in my head). It's been a wild year, and my hard work has lead to some incredible opportunities- some of which I never would've imagined happening. I'm going to delve in to some numbers and details and thoughts about the year, as well as share stories and some of my favorite photos from 2015. Check it all out below!
